{"id":78,"date":"2025-12-31T17:48:27","date_gmt":"2025-12-31T16:48:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.p701419.webspaceconfig.de\/?page_id=78"},"modified":"2026-01-11T23:40:45","modified_gmt":"2026-01-11T22:40:45","slug":"unser-vorgehen","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/amicapower.com\/en\/unser-vorgehen\/","title":{"rendered":"Our approach"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Events<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"fonts-plugin-block\" style=\"font-size: 18px\">To our <strong>events in Switzerland<\/strong> let's inspire each other to be more optimistic by:<br><br>Celebrating fun and powerful moments in the women's community<br>\u2013 Target our mindset and use the power of consciousness in a focused way<br>\u2013 Challenging negative thought patterns and looking for positive aspects<br>\u2013 Exchanging views on how we can positively shape our own lives and our environment<br>\u2013 Reminding each other of optimism and surrounding ourselves with optimistic people<br>\u2013 Reduce negative news<br>\u2013 Formulate and visualise individual and collective positive goals<br>\u2013 Strengthening belief in one's own abilities<br>\u2013 Making our capabilities tangible<br>\u2013 learning to master challenges by supporting each other<br>\u2013 Expanding the human image and discovering our primal potential<br><br>Following the natural cycle, we meet four times a year and through the natural <strong>Themes of a season<\/strong> let us be inspired to greater optimism.<br><br>Following each event, we collect small <strong>Financial contributions for the support of women in Gambia<\/strong>.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Implementation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Flavia travels to Gambia two to three times a year and uses the money for the following support measures:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\" style=\"text-decoration:none\">School fees for children who cannot attend school because their mother or parents are unable to pay the school fees (currently approx. CHF 130 per child and school year, including uniform, closed shoes and a mid-morning snack, which are compulsory in Gambian schools)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\" style=\"text-decoration:none\">Sack of rice (staple food) for families of single mothers, or for women whose husbands do not pay for food (currently approx. CHF 30 for 50 kilos)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Repairing holes in the roof so that the women and their children stay dry even during the rainy season (approx. CHF 50 to 200 depending on the repair)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">During your stay in Gambia, she organises a <strong>Meeting with the women concerned and inspiring them to have more optimism and a more conscious mindset.<\/strong> She is assisted by Fanta Fanneh, a reliable and long-standing Gambian friend. There is the possibility of accompanying Flavia to Gambia (tourism project)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Through <strong>Photos, bookkeeping and reports<\/strong> Flavia and Fanta document how the donations are used and what results emerge from them.
